We're a membership-based not-for-profit, led by our members and for our members. That independence is why we're trusted to champion local business success.
We represent businesses of all sizes, from sole traders and start-ups through to large employers, across every sector of the local economy. We have the Bay's biggest and most active database of local businesses, so our communications cut through industry silos.
Members are in good company: we're part of the NZ Chambers of Commerce and International Chamber of Commerce networks, 45 million members worldwide.

Business After 5 is Tauranga's leading monthly networking event. The Business Women's Network supports women in business and leadership through speakers, learning and peer connection.
Advocacy
We represent the collective voice of local business on confidence, regulation, infrastructure, workforce and economic development, working with both local and central government.
Innovation & R&D
As local delivery partner for MBIE's Science and Innovation services, we help businesses access R&D expertise, the R&D tax incentive, grants and research partners.
Export documentation
We're the approved provider of export documentation for the Bay of Plenty, covering Certificates of Origin and other trade documents so exporters comply and avoid delays.

Do I need to be a member?
No. Most of our services are open to any Bay of Plenty business, particularly the publicly funded ones. Our support is open, because our focus is helping businesses succeed.
