Big thanks to Sharp Tudhope Lawyers who hosted the November BA5 networking event.

Attendees were treated to incredible views of the Tauranga harbour, enjoyed a delicious buffet of food and drink, and took the opportunity to meet the team, network, and connect with businesses from across the Bay.

Sharp Tudhope’s Partner, Brook Courtney gave a fascinating presentation on the history of the law firm; an organisation that has been providing legal services in the Bay for 125 years.

Sharp Tudhope has a rich history in the Bay. From the early days when Henry Sharp opened his law practice in a small office on the Strand in 1896 to when he invited Archie Tudhope to join him 15 years later and they ‘joined up’ by using bullocks to pull their two offices together.

Courtney said the heart of the firm’s success comes down to its people. The firm is an active supporter of the social and community sectors, supporting charities like Riding for the Disabled, Waipuna Hospice, and the STEM Wana Trust; and takes a future-focused approach to business.
