Event Recap: BWN Networking @ Lunch

Our events are never short of good conversation, and our latest BWN Networking @ Lunch was no exception.

Thank you to the women who joined us to connect, make new friends, and engage in positive conversation over a delicious lunch at Trinity Wharf last Friday.

For this event, we wanted to focus on the positive. So, to get the discussion rolling a BWN committee member was seated at each table to help generate conversation. Plus, every 15 minutes an individual at each table was asked to move to another table. This ensures attendees get to meet and connect with as many women as possible – speed dating for the busy working woman.

We met women from various backgrounds and industries, all at different stages in their careers and business journeys. Business cards were exchanged, opportunities emerged, and friendships were made.

A big thank you to BWN committee member Tanya Drummond from Cooney Lees Morgan for MCing the event. And thanks to Trinity Wharf for the venue, catering, and ongoing support.

Our next BWN Networking lunch will be held in September. But if you can’t wait till then, join us for the 2023 BWN Speaker Series on Tuesday, 27 June.

For this year’s Speaker Series, we are bringing together a group of incredibly influential speakers from across the region and country – who each perfectly embody this year’s theme: Paving the way.

We will explore the journey these women took to pave the way in their respective industries: balancing business with families and self; creating new ways of working; and exploring the new frontier in business.

Their stories – full of passion, adversity, and grit – will challenge the way you think in life and in business.

Save the date now and keep an eye out for our first two speaker announcements coming very soon. Tickets will be available via our website from Tuesday, 11 April.
